I have no inspiration...

He already has:

  • Brio (lots)
  • Duplo (lots)
  • Train table
  • Balance bike
  • Scooter
  • Toy kitchen
  • Two parking garages
  • 1,000 toy cars

Any ideas?

Ds has recently turned three, from us he's getting :first pedal bike, Thomas the tank engine play tent and books.

He got a a big toy fire engine that squirts water for his birthday that is a huge hit. Also has a tool bench and lots of wooden puzzles/ building blocks. His favourites are ones that make a castle which is then attacked by dragons (plastic toy dinosaurs), and defended by the little wooden knights on horses that came with the castle blocks.

Other than that his ride on toys are a hit: rocking horse/ hobby horse, ride on excavator

What about a play kitchen?

DS is 3 just after Christmas and the things he's getting that your DS doesn't already have are:

  • Kukkia Oekaki wooden drawing house (he loves the cheap plastic drawing boards but they break so quickly he will be really pleased to have a nicer one)
  • Viga dolls house and furniture with additional dolls, pets and playground set. He loves small world play and it was nice to find a dolls house that isn't pink and girlie
  • IKEA wooden balance beam
  • More wooden food for his kitchen
  • Olli and Ella pull along basket on wheels

He also has and loves:
  • wooden farm
  • Play-Doh
  • kinetic sand

DS loves his kinetic sand. Primark have some green stuff in a bucket for £2.50 which is even more popular then the real stuff. He also loves all the Bruder and Schleich stuff

Scooter
Lots and lots of books
Puzzles
'My first calendar' fabric one to hang on the wall
More bits for the kitchen he already has
Brio train stuff

Stocking fillers:
Dinosaur projection torch

Some good tips here thank you. Didn't realise playmobil was suited for this ahi, will look into that. Also liking the idea of tools : tool bench.

Won't get too many dolls / prams etc as he has an older sister so plenty of that type of thing around already - he does love playing with dolls!

I'm tempted by a (reasonably priced??) piano for both DC - very unmusical myself but love the idea of them learning an instrument.

We've got our 2yr old a play kitchen. The early learning centre one. It was 60% off a few weeks ago.

Aside from that he is getting playmobil, blaze car, Skye in her helicopter, pants, socks, bath bomb, bouncy ball.
