Between 2 and 5 pm (during the day all offices closed for a half day) with some food and drink provided, what would you expect to eat? Drink I have covered. Directors are also paying for Transport too and from the other offices to head office so everyone can attend.

Another one saying canapés. But make sure that there are plenty of them!

But have people been expected to forego lunch to attend? If so, they may need more food.

Sandwiches, Sausage rolls, crips, breadsticks and dip, crudités. Chocolates, canapés, mince pies if it's xmas, that sort of shizzle.

I've been to many a work thing such as this and highly recommend something a bit more substantial to soak up alcohol, some people go crazy when free booze is around.

Went to one recently where they did mini fish and chips, chicken on sticks, prawns in breadcrumbs, cheese type board went down very well indeed as most people had missed lunch.

Pizza is always very popular and soaks up lots of alcohol. Cheap, too, so you can splash out on some more interesting things for the few people who prefer more dainty food.

Depending on type of work place either lots of canapés or dominoes pizzas

Something to soak up alcohol I hope! I remember getting absolutely hammered at a work xmas thing, as the meal was at a very posh restaurant and the wine supplies were huge. Cute nibbles on arrival but something erm bulkier later on...

Thank so. Yes staff can have lunch first. The offices are all going to close from 12 noon. Pizza delivered is a possible good idea.

We get Papa John's pizza in at work for lunchtime meeting. Easy to organise, hot, tasty, minimal mess. Just get in a load of paper plates and napkins.

We get dominos delivered to our office now and again and goes down well, good for soaking up booze. Or we do nibbles but always go overboard and have lots of waste. Sometimes just bread, cheese and spreads are good to
