I want to get some new Christmas lights this year but I want to try to get the best deal I can .
Preferably warm light (golden).

Hit me with your recommendations!

Asda has got quite a good choice this year. We got 50 blue led lights for £5 (indoor / outdoor on a timer) and they also had warm white ones. I think 100 were £10.

Wilkos alway have lots of nice, cheap lights.

Op if you find some can you share? I have had fingers burnt with harsh cold lights I hate. I want a warm and golden glow too

Winterisnigh yes of course. I've been caught out with that too. I've found some that look lovely on ebay but they're under £4 and I'm worried they'll burn my house down!

I got mine from home bargains last year, tiny LED in warm white, they look lovely on the tree and they can go outside if I change my scheme at any point!

I also have some red berry type lights that I nestle deep into the tree, but I am undecided about whether or not I will deploy them this year or not!

I have these 300 warm white from Lightsforfun - I got them in the summer they are lovely and apparently LED is much safer and cheaper to run - they are for 6ft trees though they have a range of options they twinkle and flash etc. I am really pleased with them.
£25.99 but they have lots of other lights too.

Lights4fun online is fab. I just ordered loads of Xmas lights and they were a bargain. Sort of things that would be 4 times the price in John Lewis.

We got these from Amazon last year for outside our house, the 40 metre option warm white, we paid £20 at the time. They stayed up all year (whoops) and I've just tested them at the weekend and they still work fine.
