#BounceBounce

DonkeyOaty Mon 07-Nov-16 12:21:58

Aha looks a bit joyous and upbeat and NO REEDY WARBLING!

grin

OpheIiaBaIIs Mon 07-Nov-16 12:33:09

The full one's out on Thursday and it's rumoured to have a Bowie song as it's soundtrack, no idea whether it'll be a cover or not. So still a chance there'll be some reedy warbling, although not sure how they'll fit it with something so 'bouncy' fgrin

It is apparently a cover of One Day I'll Fly Away by The Vaults.

That's a relief. Not sure I want a Bowie song slaughtered by breathy wibbliness.

Nothing remotely sad better happen to that dog. No growing old as the wee bouncing girl grows up. I am suspicious of the happy bouncing. <narrows eyes at John Lewis>

SoupDragon Tue 08-Nov-16 09:10:33

The space hopper gets a puncture, the dog gets inflated and the girl carries on bouncing whilst gripping onto his ears.

FreddoBaggyMac Tue 08-Nov-16 13:29:28

Have you noticed there is a second clip today? Yesterday she bounced outdoors, today she bounces indoors... what does tomorrow hold I wonder? Love the dog.

EnidButton Tue 08-Nov-16 14:43:34

Soup shock take that back!

If it's the same director who did the snow people buying gloves and the Monty the penguin one, it surely won't be too sad. Plus we need uplifting happy this year. Man on the moon was pants and was it JL who did the depressing 'she's more than a woman' ad?

DonkeyOaty Tue 08-Nov-16 16:20:57

Soupy grin

Freezingwinter Tue 08-Nov-16 16:24:33

Anyone know what time on Thursday ?

ItchyFoot Tue 08-Nov-16 16:27:21

A teaser for an advert!? Ffs I love Christmas and all the hype but come on!
That Sainsbury's one from a year or so back got me. The one about the soldiers playing football and sharing chocolate.

LazySusan11 Tue 08-Nov-16 16:57:15

Why are her parents allowing her bounce on the sofa?! hmm <misses point>

OpheIiaBaIIs Tue 08-Nov-16 19:22:56

I think the bouncing is an attempt to fly, hence the soundtrack. Goodness knows how the dog figures though if I'm right apart from JL using it as a ploy to flog stuffed dog toys

nancy75 Tue 08-Nov-16 19:30:37

I used to have a boxer, if a kid had been bouncing on the sofa he would have been up there bouncing too, he would never have watched on that calmly!

EnidButton Tue 08-Nov-16 21:14:31

Maybe that's where it's going nancy little girl goes to bed and boxer copies her bouncing.

nancy75 Tue 08-Nov-16 21:38:41

A bouncing boxer would be lovely ( although a little slobbery)grin

EnidButton Wed 09-Nov-16 02:29:50

Lovely drooly bouncy boxer. I'd watching a whole ad break just of that.

SoupDragon Wed 09-Nov-16 06:52:15

They should have used a spaniel. When mine bounces his ears flap like wings.

EnidButton Thu 10-Nov-16 02:04:02

grin

Yankeetarts Thu 10-Nov-16 07:48:37

The full advert is now on YouTube

DonkeyOaty Thu 10-Nov-16 07:54:36

Reedy warbling, tick.

Howevs the ad is indeed joyous and upbeat.

Trying321 Thu 10-Nov-16 08:01:41

I just watched the full version it's much better than the lonely man on the moon. The only thing I'd change would be the overly hammed up "shock" of the family at the end, would have been nicer to end on a scene of the girl bouncing away with the dog or all of them laughing and giving the dog a hug. I think JL think the "punchline" is funnier than it is.

nancy75 Thu 10-Nov-16 09:54:03

Yay a bouncing Boxer! It has made me cry a little, we lost our lovely boxer a few years ago - the one on the add is so much like him (although better behaved) our boy would have loved a trampoline!!

SoupDragon Thu 10-Nov-16 11:01:52

so unrealistic.

The foxes would have shat on it.
