Ideas for 11 and 9 year old boys

My cousins are 11 and 9 and I usually get them a book but would like to get them something a bit different this year. They are lovely boys, very bright and sporty. I was thinking some kind of science kit or craft kit? I don't want to get something too babyish for the 11year old though. Any ideas would be appreciated.

My 9yr old is requesting spy gear??! I blame Alex Rider. He's getting door alarms and all kinds of weird gadgets this year. He's also asked for lego, books, and an Xbox360 game. H
e loves getting an Amazon voucher to pick his own too.

What about a game? We love classic monopoly, have bought bean boozle this year.

I have just ordered GorillaPod bendy camera-phone tripod things for DS1 and 2 x nephews all aged 11, along with a Pokemon handbook each.

My son will be 9 in February.
This is some of the things he will be getting either for Xmas or birthday.

Modelling clay - I'm buying different types of modelling clay - air dry, lumi Dough and cheap plasticine, with tools and putting in a tub.
Pokemon guide book - a really lovely big book that Amazon were doing for £5 or 3 for a tenner deal.
New Diary of a wimpy kid book (out 1st Nov)
Alex rider book set was £10 in the works.
Lego micro hulk vs Ultron around £6
Ghostbusters slime & figure set £1.99 at Smyths
Lego technic car £17
Minecraft magazine subscription - first 3 issues £1 then £20 for next 6.
I'm making him up a willy wonka sweet hamper, he has been doing the book in school and we recently watched both movies so I have bought wonka sweets like nerds, gobstoppers from poundland and a wonka chocolate bar with golden ticket inside from eBay. Il also be putting other American candy in it maybe with twinkles or similar, a new DVD, a can of juice and I bought from debenhams a giant fizzy cola bottle that's £6. B&m do a hamper with cellophane for £5. But I might just decorate a box to put in.
