What are YOU getting for Christmas?

Or what are you asking for maybe that should read?
Parents and grandparents have been asking for ideas and I guess I'm lucky as there's nothing I want. Ideally I'd love kindle vouchers but they won't go for that as it's not a proper present apparently...,
So what would you like?

I really just want vouchers too, I have this argument with my mum every year, she hates them. I think they're the perfect present, I get to choose what I like, when I like. Sorry, not much help!

From parents/In-laws:

DH and I will ask for a canvas for our bedroom, there is a photographer we like, so off to look for a good picture.

From my mum:
no idea yet, we only do small gifts, she lives without a huge selection of shops, doesn't do internet shopping and won't go shopping to the next town.

From DH:
my birthday is beginning of December and I give one wish list and he then decides what I get when.
My Amazon wish list currently holds:
puppy pen for my rabbits
baking tins
decent palette knife
set of mixing spoons
will look for a nice Champneys set

My list is mainly a huge amount of horsey stuff plus a couple of sweatshirts because I always steal DHs, a cheap bracelet I like from NOTHS and a felt picture done of the 5 horses. That's split between birthday and Christmas.

Maybe a Instant Pot, I don't really need one and it would mean getting rid of my beloved slow cooker but there is nothing on my list thats within a sensible price range

DH and I are going halves on a decent camcorder, our camera is pretty good but takes rubbish film and we (ok I) want to be able to take good videos of our pfb who is due in jan. DH whilst not sure about the need for a camcorder (he thinks phones are fine) is more than happy to agree as it means he doesn't need to panic buy my gift the week before Christmas! Hmm

Nan will be giving us a car seat.

No idea about anyone else, I have a feeling baby stuff might feature prominently, first baby in 16 years on one side of the family and first of a new generation so the family are possibly a little over excited!

I wanted gift vouchers so I could treat myself to some new clothes next year (after having baby) but apparently they're not proper gifts!

So instead:

My Gran has bought me a new grey coat from River Island.

From my parents: boots from Mint Velvet, something from Urban Decay, a jewellery box and a jumper that I can wear for late pregnancy/just after birth. We always have new PJs/slippers, our favourite chocolates etc. Plus my dad always gets me some wine which will be my favourite bottle of Malbec and whichever lovely white he surprises me with...which I'll be able to enjoy in late February to celebrate baby's arrival Grin

From SO: I have asked for some kind of spa treatments so I can have a something to look forward in late pregnancy. And/or gift vouchers towards new clothes.

Ooh, I want books, lots of books! Also some wine glasses, a Liberty advent calendar! A couple of scarves, a piece of jewellry maybe, some rosewood calves (but cheating & buying these for ds for his bday)

I'd love tickets for something-esp theatre but any activity really would be good, a cooking class, blacksmith workshop, stone carving.....

Never much I want either tbh.

This year - a bottle of EA Green Tea perfume - my five year old bottle is almost empty, two reeds for my loom and some bobbins for my spinning wheel (all things I am not buying myself so there is something on my list).

Some perfume
Some nice chocolates
Some new ear rings. Nothing fancy, just something dressy i could wear for parties.

My parents normally get me a perfume set and 50 pounds. Id been saying I'd love a new (well, second hand but new to me) dining table as ours is only a four seater and we need a 6/8 one. They've offered to give me the 50 pounds early so I can have the dining table for over the Christmas period. I'm so chuffed Smile
