Ideas for those hard-to-buy-for men in our lives

I was going to ask on the bargain thread but thought it might be easier to have a separate thread.

Please come and share your ideas for the men you are buying for. I have DH and several adult relatives to buy for and am stumped. My only idea so far is a Star Wars Thumb Wars light sabre book for DN.

Help me move away from the Lynx gift sets please (or at least get them cheaper).

DSF - jumper, football mug, biscuits
DGF - tickets for Truckfest, mince pie biscuits
DFIL - engraved razor, racing post annual, biscuits
DGFIL - Lottie Shaw cakes hamper
DBIL - voucher and Hotel Chocolat chocs
DF - snaffling pig pork scratchings
Teacher - personalised pen
DH - Stone Roses tickets, cards against humanity, shower radio, diary, clothes and a stocking.

That's all adult men.

I have previously got a beer box from beerbods for my DH.

This year I am considering Form Cards or Sugru. Not the most expensive either of them, but at least something that he hasn't asked for (which is normally socks and t-shirts...not very exciting!).

I'm not the best with ideas though, so lurking as well!

Current ideas that are percolating for DH include:
Something from the left handed gift shop
Heritage skills class
If I'm feeling suddenly flush I know he'd like a DAB car radio but I don't think they are cheap
I know he'd like to climb a mountain but I'm not sure how to wrap that into a gift?

I'm thinking of getting compound 9 for some of my hard to buy for males

Poundland do beer crates that can fit six bottles if you want to make your own beer box

I'm considering a smart phone hologram projector too, though it's a total gimmick, but I could see it being a hit on Christmas Day

This might be good grid it and if you're crafty there's lots of tutorials online girl how to make your own

lock pick set too expensive so might get one of the smaller sets on Amazon.

But I'm a bit stumped after that. My fil has everything he could possibly need and can afford much better versions of anything I could ever buy, while my dad can't bear us to spend a penny on him unless it's very cheap and very useful. They might both be getting sugru.

DH will probably get vouchers for Brewstore (homebrew kit).

DF is another one who will ask for something cheap and useful but he is not averse to an Oxfam gift. he asked for a goat last year, I thought I'd spoil him and got a pair of goats. This cracks me up, but no one else sees the funny side. Yet.

I got my parents a goat 1 yr they didnt appreciate it! But tbey are well off and i was out of ideas. I would love someone to buy me a goat and would get a lot of pleasure from the thought of how userul it was.

I got dp a feed the lions experience last christmas.

We didnt use it till july sue to hes work but we both had so much fun feeding white lions by hand. I also booked and paid for a night in a near by posh hotel. Went down v well
