I live abroad and always come "home" for Christmas. My DC are 16, 14 and 10 now so I can't really get away with dragging them to Santa Specials and visiting Rudolph at the farm! What special trips do you do with older kids/ teens? Apart from Christmas shopping at Apple and Superdry Wink

Ice skating, there are loads of rinks around London at christmas.
Southbank christmas market or winterwonderland in Hyde park.

Excellent idea -one of the rare things they all enjoy and we don't have a rink near us so it would be a treat Smile

The rink at Broadgate next to Liverpool street station is never as busy as the big ones

Try our MN Local site for Westminster & City, which has thousands of listings including a Christmas What's On guide - with ice rinks: local.mumsnet.com/westminster-and-city/christmas
