So far have planned to make:
Vegetarian main
cranberry and brie stuffed mushrooms
roast potatoes
Ginger carrots
yorkshire pudding
sprouts with shallots
roast asparagus

Christmas pudding and trifle for dessert

I am cooking for a lot of people though, and I think I need 1 or 2 more sides. Any (vegetarian) ideas?

Roast potatoes
Pigs in blankets
Yorkshire puddings (that I forgot to serve sad)
Honey roast carrots and parsnips
Sprouts with pancetta
Leeks and peas
Red cabbage
Meat free stuffing
Bread sauce

An invitation for me? That sounds bloody delicious.

Mash, cauliflower cheese, pigs in blankets, stuffing. All essentials.

Forgot parsnips, also an essential.

Big dish of dauphinoisse if you want to be complete gannets.
Red cabbage
And definitely veggie-appropriate stuffing
I'd lose the asparagus - it's gorgeous but would get swamped by everything else.

The side dishes I'm doing are:

Mashed carrots and parsnips
Potato spinach and mushroom bake
Mashed potatoes
Roasted squash
Fried sprouts with bacon

I'm in Ireland so my cutoff for online shopping was Friday. Great, says I, at least I won't be tempted to twitch anymore.

Went to tesco for milk this morning and came out with mince pies, Pringles and 2 tops because suddenly, the perfectly good christmas day outfit I have would no longer do and I couldn't decide between the 2 in tesco fblush
