My ds 7 has requested a budgie and a dyson for the last 3 years, poor Santa was lost for words last year! Anyone else had a odd request?

A tidy up sign from my 3 year old. Still a bit puzzled!

There was a thread on here last Christmas with some brilliant ones on.

Bluetac has been requested many times here too?

No idea why there is a question mark at the end of that?

You can get toy Dysons.
I got my son some mini traffic cones one year.

When my oldest daughter was nine she asked for a paper shredder. I can only presume she had lots of confidential paperwork she needed to get rid of Smile

DD is 2. She has requested some cake, a torch and a meerkat. More imaginative than her big brothers.

Casdon do a good to dyson, real suction and everything!

And how about a digibird / little live pet budgie. They're less than £10.

Dd (11) has requested a glue gun this year. Have got her one but have no idea what she wants to glue.

I suspect it could be her little brother. Sigh.

DD (14) asked for a set of crutches a few years ago! Someone at school had a broken leg or something and she thought crutches looked cool Hmm Didn't buy them of course!

DS is too young yet to request items, but we are certain he will. My sister and I asked for tins of olives as children. We were thrilled to find them in our Christmas sacks!

DS (7) asked for some weights, as in dumbbells Hmm Neither DH nor I lift weights, so no idea where that's come from.

DD (5) asked for a gymnastics leotard and mat. She doesn't go to gymnastics classes and, as far as I am aware, does not do it at school or Rainbows, so I can only assume she means to teach herself...

Dd's Christmas list just had two (named) My Little Ponies on it (one quite obscure), and also "soc" (sock, as in, literally, a sock. Or presumably, a pair).
I've no idea why she wants a sock. Nor had she, when pressed.

Ds 2.6 wants "a torch present and a spider present" wish I had asked before spending a fortune on pirate ships and stickle bricks!

These are brilliant, I love the tidy sign! I've suggested both toy Hoover and budgie and was answered with a sigh and "no mummy a real one"! We are considering the budgie at some point as husband has had all sorts of birds in past and fil still does...

My four year old asked for a salad spinner. He saw one in a shop and thought it was great. Luckily it's been forgotten about and now he just wants toys.

Maybe you have something there NorahBone, they are hoping for a garden swing from me and DH. Perhaps they plan to use it to learn the trapeze?

Ds has asked for "rope (lots of)"
Probing revealed he planned to make a rope swing and set up a trap in his room. He is getting rope Hmm. He is nearly 12&should sure be asking for iPhones or summat

Dd's main present from Santa a couple of years ago was a large cardboard box (empty). It was her best present that year and she contemplated asking for another one for her main present this year.
