What to get as a prezzie? Already getting a photo frame with a pic of him and ds. Can't think of anything else. Ideally not looking to spend more than 40 quid. Help! Ds is 3 months old if that helps?xx

Foam alphabet letters you stick on the bathroom wall supposedly for helping little ones recognise letters can be used for all kinds of messages between parents before the DC can read. Xmas Smile

Some lovely simple baby + toddler I Love My Daddy type books, eg <a class="break-all" href="//www.amazon.co.uk/Just-Daddy-Touch-Match-Books/dp/1416912207?ie=UTF8&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank">//www.amazon.co.uk/Just-Daddy-Touch-Match-Books/dp/1416912207?ie=UTF8&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21

Maybe a couple of bottles of favourite tipple with labels saying 'Daddy's Juice'?

I bought DH a lovely copy of Guess How Much I Love You for the first Christmas as a dad, and wrote a special message inside the cover. This year I found an etsy seller who makes the cover into a keyring so he's getting that.

If he's a whiskey drinker then you could get a nice bottle and put a letter with it from DS about how he is looking forward to lots of adventures and growing up with him as his daddy and that the bottle of whiskey is for them to open on DS 18th birthday to share a drink together as father and son. (Mark the bottle and hide it away in back of a wardrobe or cupboard so it's almost forgotten about).
