We normally just have chocolates! But I am planning to do the dinner a bit later at about 4pm ish so want something a bit more substantial. What sort of things do you all have?

Nothing! Love to be really hungry for lunch.

Crumpets or egg on toast. Nothing extravagant in this household Grin We have lunch early, around 1, so never have anything big.

Danish pastries, those jus roll cinnamon buns, pain au chocolat.

Nothing that takes longer than 2 mins to throw in the oven and then plate up.

Thinly sliced Christmas ham, soft scrambled egg, really good toast and butter, plenty of English mustard, Buck's Fizz, real coffee. It's as important to us as turkey and trimmings, and we eat it on Boxing Day too. I can't wait!!

We eat later too - around 5pm, so we have brunch of bagels with smoked salmon and cream cheese or scrambled eggs, French pastries for DC, home made fresh fruit salad, bucks fizz. I might do eggs Florentine this year as well, so people can choose want they want.

Either bacon sandwiches or salmon and cream cheese bagels. This year i'm pretty sure the DTs will vote for bacon. Grin

Croissants, toast and maybe cinnamon buns. None of us are fans of cooked breakfasts and although I love smoked salmon I couldn't face it that early in the day.

Bagels with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Never heard of gingerbread waffles though - what are they?
I usually get chocolate croissants for the dcs but they love waffles piled up with fruit and cream, might do that this year.

When I was a kid my granny used to get kellogs variety packs. It was the ultimate treat!

I like doing waffles. We sometimes do pastries but of course they have to be from the previous day and heated up which is never quite as nice as you'd like it to be.

Smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and bucks fizz, I prefer it to Christmas lunch :)

Bacon rolls. This year I've also got some Jus-rol pain au chocolate and cinnamon rolls, so we'll probably have them as well.

If in a savoury mood, scrambled eggs with chorizo, parmesan, pine nuts and veg like peppers.

If in a sweet mood, pancakes.

Although this year (and tomorrow for my birthday) I might do French toast with cinnamon sugar, bananas and strawberries.

Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for the adults. The kids are allergic to egg so will have croissants or pancakes (vegan)

Normal breakfast food! Got enough going on with making an extravagant lunch without faffing around with complicated breakfast too.

Cinnamon and raisin bagels, bacon and cream cheese. And champagne.

What we normally have at the weekend - pain au chocolate or cinnamon buns. I do get my kids Kellogg's variety packs each year though so they have that.
