What are you getting your 6 or 7 year old DD?

Just that really - I'm stuck so any ideas welcome. I was debating an IPad mini - in fact bought one but the arguments that ensue when any of our DC borrow ours and I try to put a time limit on it has made me decide she needs something different.

My DD is 6 but possibly quite young for her age. She is getting:

Playmobil (a horse set, the playpark and a penguin set)
A zoomer puppy (which I objected to buying but was only £6 with my clubcard vouchers and is the only thing she has asked for consistently)
New ballet clothes and shoes
Girl Wonder books
Fluffy lockable diary and glitter gel pens
Big heart/cuddle cushion for her bed - from Ikea

Mine is getting the Playmobil swimming pool and the Rush Hour logic game from us. Pyjamas, an encyclopedia and some bigger jigsaws from my mum. The Strictly Come Dancing annual from one uncle and some lego from another. And I've just asked my sister to get her a Swingball set from the garden.

Also, mine have Hudls and I downloaded parental controls which are brilliant. You can set time limits and the device alarms and switches off without a parental password.
Mine are limited to half an hour games and an hour of educational apps every day between the hours of 6am and 6.30pm but you can set them to whatever you want.
Software is available on all android and I'm sure Apple must have similar

My 6, almost 7, year old is getting a tv/dvd combi, dvds, books, a lil live pets mouse, walkie talkies, glitzy globes, a tamagotchi, melissa and doug beads, a watch (she is obsessed with the time), a light up pillow, cheap craft stuff and the doggie doo game.

From family she is getting a nintendo 3ds and a leappad watch.

She had a hudl2 last year, which she loved, but it broke after about 5 months. I didn't take it back as I couldn't be sure she didn't drop it.

My 7yo dd (who loves reading, dancing and playing teacher) is getting:

From us:
Ostrich stuffed animal (one she fell in love with in a shop and doesn't think she's getting)
Play silks
Pretend school set that I've put together myself (whiteboard, reward stickers, reward certificates, teacher's record book, math posters, lots of reading books, exercise books, teaching clock)
New dance outfit
BraveRats card game
Magnatiles ice (shared with ds10, addition to already huge collection...)

From grandparents and aunt:
Toss your cookies (silly card game that she has asked for)
Dressing gown
2 Harry Potter dvds

This is the first year in a long time that I haven't bought lego or playmobil, but although she still loves both we have so much and she really doesn't need more.
