Cheap stocking filler ideas

So, I need to make 3 stockings and fill them. Got all the bits to make them. Got a maximum of £5 to spend on things to put in them for teenage girls. I want them to look full. So far got:

Chocolate coins.

That's it. Help!!!

Think of things that are quite bulky to fill out the stocking but are cheap. eg. bag of marshmallows, cheap scarf or hat.

Buy a multipacks of things like sweets or socks and split them

could you talk to someone else with teenage girls and do a swap of stuff in your houses which is unfamiliar? so unopened make up, perfume, beads, books, cooking stuff?

Bottle of shower gel or bubble bath from the pound shop and a £1 tube of sweets fill lots of save up.

It is £5 per stocking. The coins are included in that so £4.50 left. The girls in question are DD's friends and these will be their gifts. They have set a £5 limit not me being stingy! None of them like make up. Thinking along the lines of some stationery bits but not sure where to get them from.

What about going to pound land and buying some stationary, like pens and highlighters and split them between them? The one near me also had those plastic Kilner jar cups with straws in which would bulk it up. Could also get sweets, crisps and bottles of fizzy drinks (drench is two for £1, or mini bottles of Coke or Sprite that are 4 for £1). Or you could get some of the fun size chocs from aldi, they are about 79p and you could split them.

The Works is your friend for cheap stationary

Wrap each item up in bright tissue paper, also do things like putting tiny items inside boxes or cardboard inner tubes before wrapping, that will bulk it up at little cost.
A tangerine is a must.
A pack of gingerbread men is cheap, one each wrapped up, would only be a few pence each.
You might pick up small photo frames for a few pence in charity shops, put in photos of the girls together, key rings are another idea.
If you have a box of crackers, fill up the top with a cracker sticking out, also tying on a balloon is good too. [santa]

My local supermarket sells American sweets like a bar of Hershey's Cookies and Cream for 79p.

Home bargains have loads of stationary but Morrisons also have some nice pen multipacks you could split.

Tesco mug 80p. Flumps 12 for £1. Sachet hot chocolate 25p.

What about glow sticks from Poundland? Split a tub of 20 between them.

Primary for gloves or fluffy socks.

My teenagers are getting random puzzles from ebay, lipbalm (4 for a pound from poundland so splitting), a scarf and gloves from poundshop, Satsuma and a few nuts, plus a few bits which will get you over the price limit.
Its a bit late but look at puzzles on ebay: I got a mini rubiks cube, a snakey thing, a miniature baymax nightlight and a magic box for 99p each. They come from China so cutting it fine though....

Agree with enderwoman, American stuff - all from supermarkets, all cheap.

6 pack of RC cola - £1.50, can be split
Cheetos, little bags are 59p each or something like that
Tesco had 3 for £1.20 on Hersheys tonight when I was in (peanut butter cups things like that - Poundland have them too)
Pop Tarts, box is £2 so can be split

Bulky stuff, so looks decent, but you'd get a lot for £15 and just split it between them.

Home Bargains had some lovely notebooks (white with pastel with stars on or metallic zigzag bold prints) - varying sizes from 50p-£1.

They also had cheap mugs, photo frames, toiletries, food stuff and sweets etc

I went to one for the first time recently and had a great time finding hidden gems
