Ok everyone, I am in need of a christmas cake in a tin, like you used to get back in the day, open it with a can opener, already baked christmas cake in a tin.
Now normally my family comes up with this kind of thing last minute so I am in fact glad for at least 27 days notice this year!
anyone know what I'm on about? Or where I can get one?
thankyou all christmas helpers Grin

Hmmm lots of places with cakes in tins, but not needing a can opener to open!! (Bettys up north definitely do this)

Agree, Betty's cakes in a tin are delicious
Tin with a lid though, you don't need a can opener

I did say open with a can opener!! Apparently they do that. I thought she kight be getting cofused with a fray bentos but there you go- although he does love a fray bentos so if push comes to shove...

President, i found that one too, but you have to cook that one, you add water and cook it. We are looking for already baked! Thankyou though, I really love you lot for checking!!
