Some fairly deep discounts on toys, especially the lightening deals.

Console yourself with a another bargain. Retail therapy. Works every time. I got the leap pad tablet thing for DS3 and a pair of fancy headphones for DSS12.

Ahh - crafty idea. I hadn't thought of doing it that way.

Catzpyjamas - can't you just buy another one at discount price and return the first one,

Something I had in my basket has just gone up by £10! I'm hoping they will cut it back down tomorrow.

I've had hits & misses with this. On one hand, I've been gutted to see Freddy Teddy & Baby Born heavily reduced today as I bought them weeks ago for their full price but I have also saved a small fortune on DH's Christmas presents (he wanted a new SD card & a coffee machine) & presents for other family members, so have more than broken even.

I really need to stop looking at the lightening deals now though - I've just ordered DD a Silver Cross pram for her Baby Born that I never would have purchased at full price. I'll need to build an extension by Christmas if I don't step away now!

Choc DD had a Kindle Fire HD for her birthday in the summer. It's really good for watching things (she had a Tesco Hudl before and it was absolutely crap by comparison).

I got two fit bit charges that were £49 not in Black Friday but went down anyway in a Navy colour. And got DD the Kids Kindle, I was going to give her my old one that I never use and pay for the Kids Prime but this works out £70 for the tablet + Case and warranty plus the kids prime.

I also went to the. Nintendo site and got a Nintendo 3DXL + Game in their sale for £99 and free delivery (Tesco is the same price but you have to pay for delivery).

Also a few books from the bookpeople but I'm not sure there were many bargains to be had and DD is too young for the David Walliams set.

I used kidstart and Top cash back depending on who did the best return That's me done!

Will they actually reduce in price in your basket though? Not entirely sure they do...
I bought stuff I had already researched. Just one more thing to get!

Just got two Kindle fire for under £70, delighted. I keep everything on my wishlist and check that way. I must not look today after work, I spent enough last night.

I got the Xbox One for £229 from Amazon this morning and it comes with two games. Cheapest I've seen it anywhere. Had to raid savings, overdraft, plead with exH to get the cash together but it's on it's way. It's for DS's birthday which is on the 20th December.

PippaFawcett · 27/11/2015 10:33

I dithered over the Geomags as they were still nearly £50 which wasn't in my plan for Christmas. But I am hoping it is something DD and DS will both get a couple of years use out of.

Hot wheels sounds good!

Has anyone found lightning deals for things that are either sat in their basket or wish list or even just something you've looked up over the past couple of weeks. Its happened several times for me and yes that price drop has made me twitch!
