"a little candy machine" for DS from Santa

DS is 5 and has put this in his letter for Santa.
He's been talking about it quite a lot and really expects that Santa will be able to deliver because he said "little". We are travelling for Christmas so I did explain that Santa might not bring it if he thought it would get damaged in the suitcase on the way home.
That being said, I'd love if Santa could indeed produce the goods so maybe you ladies can help me.
In his head, it is a small machine (so would need to either have a button or a handle to turn or something) and can make candy (sweets...we are in Canada) and also you can design the wrapper.
I think I could bodge something up...maybe...like an egg beater, some instructions, and stickers to make the labels...

Ideas very welcome!

Can you get the chocolate coin maker in Canada?

Google gumball machine. Jelly Belly have a nice branded one iirc. They are cute!

ooh, trixy, I don't know if we can...must have a look as chocolate coins were also on his list so that would be 2 in one!!

Stirling - sadly, I thought that would solve my problems but he doesn't want a gumball machine. It has to manufacture the candy and it has to be a machine.

Amazon have loads of toy vending machine type things like this or this.

Would one of those satisfy him?

Gummy Bear Maker? Surely with that name it must be available over the pond...

Ah, it has to make the candy...that's harder!

Can you not introduce him to the Bagpuss chocolate biscuit machine?

ok- golden coin maker looks perfect but 20 quid delivery makes it not worth it at all.

Gummy bear maker does seem to be available but for $50 or more.

Candy floss maker is too big/bulky.

I read the title thinking of a Pez dispenser... Grin

We used to have the Cadbury vending money boxes as kids, do they still make them? If so that might be an idea.
I think I need to find one for myself now!

I'd put in a note saying candy machines are too big to Cary, get him a sweet dispenser and a 'golden ticket' for a tour (some factories do them and if you write a nice letter ... ) around a sweet making plant.

Hatethis - that is a good back up plan.

Have found a few sweet making kits in Toys R Us but they are mostly not going to be a "machine" which I think is quite vital to him.

There is this - www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp?prodFindSrc=cart&productId=60653976 - which is a front runner at the moment

However, looking at the size, Santa might leave it in Canada for him to have when he comes home...

Yes - looking at the chocolate coin makers, I reckon they are the types of plastic crap that are not even half as good as you want them to be.

I am thinking egg-beater, chocolate chips, a special bowl and maybe a teeny little special pan, novelty silicone ice cube mould and he can make his own chocolates. Little gift bags and sticky labels all in a nice box? (Egg beater is to make it more like a machine!)
