Aldi vs Tesco Turkey

Got our Christmas leaflet from Aldi through the door yesterday. Looking at the turkeys they don't go on sale until 19th December and they won't know the price until then (confirmed by contacting them). Tescos pre order finishes on 15th December so I need to make the decision before I know the Aldi price.

Tesco are about £7.50 per kg. We will be getting a 4kg ish crown I expect. Does anyone remember how much Aldi was last year or what the quality was like?

I know it won't make much difference over all but it's ruining my attempt at planning

I've no idea about either of the above ,but thought I'd just say that in the last couple of years we have swapped from M&S turkey crowns to Morrisons as they are really nice .

Are you talking fresh turkeys?

I ask because Aldi have had frozen turkeys in for weeks now.
I have a large and small crown in my freezer already because we don't know what we are doing for Christmas day yet.

Large Aldi crown is £11.99 I think. Maybe £15. I can't remember.

Thank you. We had morrisons last year and it was really nice

Yes I'm planning on fresh as doubt there will be much room in the freezer in the next few weeks
