Nursery Gifts

DS (2.5) has a keyworker then there are 10 other nursery workers across the whole nursery.

As I am crap with names and as everyone has chatted with me at some point I don't know who actually works in DSs room alongside his keyworker.

Who do I get gifts for/how do I go about it? They have all been fab since he started. Was wondering if a whole staff hamper was overkill? Posh tea, biscuits, coffee etc, or a tin of chocs for each room and something about £5 for KW (but what?) the other option was trying to find out where their Xmas do is and putting some money behind the bar or giving them a voucher towards it? Stumped, stumped, stumped (and rather skint) what do others do?

Think they may find it hard to split a hamper.

We used to get a nice gift for key worker and then just a nice tin of biscuits/ chocs for rest of staff to put in their staff room.

I'll be doing the same as Only1scoop, £6 gift for KW and box of chocolates/tin of biscuits for the staff room.

Own gift for key worker then something for the staffroom like nice biscuits and coffee. Magazine subscriptions are good too.

My friend is a key worker. Mostly with the under 2s. She says her nicest presents are pamper for her - eg she is constantly changing nappies and washing hands so a nice hand cream is really appreciated. She also loves to relax over Christmas so lush bath bombs and books/magazines also go down well. So does a bottle of wine! She's early 20s btw.
Another friend of mine -a preschool worker- loved a voucher she got to take her 2 children to the local soft play area. Said it was nice that she was thought of as being a person outside preschool

Dd male key worker had certain hobbies so we would get him a voucher to do with that. Dd as she got older would also create him something specialGrin

Other key worker nice toiletries ....wine etc.

You get to know them better as the years tick by it becomes easier.

There's a nice Bert's Bees hand and lip set around for about £8 so I'll be getting ds's KW that.
