Christmas

what would YOU like for Christmas?

I am trying to make a list to give DH. We have a small budget for each other, £50 each, and he likes to have a list of things to pick from. I need ideas. So far all I have is Nigella's new cook book.

So what would YOU like for Christmas? It might give me some inspiration, and we mustn't forget about ourselves in the madness. :)

Fossil rose gold watch (I've taken a photo to show dh)
Soap & Glory stuff (usually special offer in Boots before Christmas)
Yankee candle tart burner

Dh and I don't usually bother much with presents so the watch will probably throw him.

A camping toilet.

He won't get me one though because they discuss shit like that at work and he'll feel like a knob Grin

What sort of stuff are you into OP? Everyone likes different stuff. There must be something.

I am hardly into anything anymore. It is hard to think of something that would purely be just for me which is what the point of this gift giving is. We buy stuff for the house and clothes etc and we live reasonably well, but we don't have flashy gadgets and we don't usually spend money that only benefits ourselves. I hope that makes sense?

So I was just interested to hear what other people are wanting, and it might help me think of something or remind me of something I would like.

I have a yankee candle tart burner and I have never used it. Are they really good? Might light it later.

:o @ the camping toilet.

Mil has bought me a new pashmina as mine has vanished and I wear it as a scarf every day in the winter.

If I didn't have two small dc I might have asked for a colouring book for grownups and some pencils. No point for a few years though!

The things I really want atm are quite specific - dd2 to take a bottle and a day to myself!

I want a set of running warthogs in bronze - but they are £450 so I don't think I'll be getting them.

I got a shovel last year.

Nightie. Brushed cotton, long sleeves, buttons at the front, peter pan collar. Like the ones I wore as a child. White or plain pastel colour. But preferably white with a few small flowers embroidered at the top somewhere.

Second childhood for me. Loving it.

I'm struggling as well, we need new saucepans but I don't want that as my gift!

I did think a weekend trip to Paris in April time as we can get a Eurostar return for about £150 (for me, dh, and our 9month dd) but then I went and threw our passports away with the recycling SadSad so it may be perfume and chocolates!!!

I would love a heated throw particularly the ones with pockets for hands.

A pair of gloves that look like cat paws

A poster which has the whole text of the book on and is amazing (will try and put up a link)

A star projection cube which puts stars onto your bedroom ceiling

Badedas

A cake tin in the shape of a moomin

I have 13 wish lists on Amazon and the one where I put stuff I would like for me is up to 97 items Blush

I would like some over the knee boots but not sure whether I want heeled or flat.
The new Robert Galbraith book.
A spiraliser.
A lovely big bottle of Allure.

Failing any of those, chocolate of most varieties is always welcome!

Erm...I don't think there's anything I actually want. Erm...maybe a babysitter so me and DP can go watch a movie and to a restaurant?

Ooh ooh ooh! Just thought, new tomb raider game!
If we had mode money I would say an Xbox one but can't afford it just yet. Maybe for my birthday.

Exit please say you asked for the shovel and it wasnt a surprise gift??

I would like a new lens for my camera but as we are saving for a house that would be a bit expensive, so i have chosen some m&s pjs for dh to give me. Some chocolate would be nice too!

The same sort of things as I want every year!

Books (and books and books and books) including colouring books

a new bracelet - not an expensive one but one that has been chosen by somebody who loves me and with my taste in mind

Lindt Sea Salt chocolate

silver earrings

Yes to Badedas!

nice knickers (ideally Rosie silk ones)

And this year I'd really like a new dressing gown, some new watercolour pencils and a baking tray!

Love that Austen poster - saw it a while ago and was drooling over it.

My mil to get her head out her backside and spend Christmas /prioritise her only son and grandchildren over her new boyfriend. Hell may freeze over first.

I think dh may have bought the Radley bag I dropped big hints about though.

I'd like a painter and decorator to return my calls, quote to redecorate my flat and get it done in time for spring 2016.

More realistically, a leather Arne Jacobsen Drop chair would be lovely.
