Looking for inspiration really, eldest will be 4.5 next month, youngest turns 2 on Christmas Eve grin I've had a good clear out of their toys, at the moment they both love dress up, crafts, push along toys like prams & trucks, neither play with their dolls houses. I'm aware they've got very girls toys (youngest has a few push along cars which she likes) so any suggestions would be great fully received!! So far for the eldest I've got Elsa & Ana toddler dolls (both girls still obsessed with Frozen), dressing up dresses, a play nil fairy, for youngest minions clothes (youngest lives minions), a threading toy, push along trolley & Hoover.

DD will be almost 2 at Xmas. We've got her the Ikea play kitchen and grandparents are getting play food, pans etc.
Will also get her a nice book and a couple of stocking fillers e.g. Xmas socks, Twirlywoos toys and crayons.
When my niece was 5 she loved art/craft stuff.

My daughter was nearly 2 last year and she got some megablocks, a big slide for the garden, a trampoline for the garden, play kitchen and dolls house along with a few little bits.

For my 5 year old niece this year I have bought her a big tub of hama beads and the boards. And my now nearly 3 year old is getting an outdoor swing, balance bike and a few other bits.

I am doing a dressing up cabinet for my DTs (3). I've bought an old tv unit for a tenner and am currently painting it and will stick a rail inside. Voila somewhere to hang all their dressing up stuff. I am also getting them some new dressing up clothes plus some hats/accessories etc.

From other people they are getting a tablet (i tried to resist but they are using tablets at nursery and are pestering to play some games), Elsa doll for one and Cinderella doll for the other, more dressing up stuff and probably some more lego.

They already have loads of outside toys plus scooters and bikes so i wanted to do something for inside that they really love.

They will also get the usual, book, colouring in/sticker book, pj's, bath toys, DVD, stocking bits and bobs.

My dd was 2 last year and got a wooden kitchen. My mum got her a balance bike. This year she is getting a wooden train set and more toy cars for her collection . Toy cars are the only toys she plays with everyday.

My are slightly older than yours OP, but my 3,5 year old really wants a baby Annabel crawling doll. She has just inherited her sister's bike which she loves too & has already learnt to ride it after getting a balance bike for her 3rd birthday. Her sister, just 6, wants a maxi scooter. She got a Lucy dog for her birthday which she loves. She also got a little live bird talking pet which has been a big hit.

I'm going to get them a couple of games to share too, from the Happy Puzzle co or co-operative games.

I am thinking of buying Playmobil123 for my 2 year old.

I have started a thread about it in Chat. Apparently, people have found that it's a toy that is well liked by dc at age 5 as well.

I have two girls v similar age. Was thinking of getting Lucy dog for 4.5yo (v confused by all the different alternatives, animagic, fur real etc...) Crying cupcake doll from Elc for 2yo. Going to suggest Lego friends and my little pony toys to grandparents for older one and anything peppa pig related for younger one. Like the look of the hama beads suggested above too!

DD was 2 last year and got the Ikea play kitchen and some pans and fruit and a toy kettle from my parents; some bits and pieces (books, clothes, small toys from Ikea, and Sarah and Duck soft toys) from us; and Father Christmas brought a wooden train set (which has been the most played with toy this year).

Her birthday is not long after Christmas and for that she got some soft toys, a rag doll, more play kitchen stuff, bath toys, and a Toddlebike (along with the train set the Toddlebike was very very popular with DD this past year!)

My 5 year old is getting an iPod so she can listen to audio books on holiday and in the car (she has older siblings who already have them and although she hasn't asked for one, she will love to have one to be like them). She is also getting play mobil. She got a small lego set for her birthday but can't figure it out so play mobile it is.

Also, if I had a 5 year old, and a bit more living space, I would be tempted to buy a swing car off of Amazon Smile

My 2 year old loves doctors/ nurse set, wooden farm and animals, plastic dinosaurs, any toy kitchen she can get her hands on (we don't have space for one in house but hopefully will by her 3rd birthday) and her wooden train set.

New books always a big hit too, mog the cat and anything dinosaur related are current favourites.

We're getting her a dolls house for Christmas as she has small sylvanian families set that she loves but it's really still a bit small and fiddly for her.
