Every year I buy Dh a bottle of something creamy, sweet and alcoholic as a little pressie. He's had every flavour of baileys, Thornton's liqueur and Dooley's toffee liqueur. Last year I got him a gorgeous toffee vodka which I liked more than he did! He's generally not into strong spirits, prefers a creamy type drink. Any suggestions?

M&S have some v Xmassy ones coming out. But I've forgotten what.
Not sure if they are out yet, it was on a blog that someone linked to. Let me rack my brain. ..

Call me weird, but I really enjoy a small glass of Advocaat over ice! It tastes like alcoholic powdered custard.

Those M&S ones sound fab.

Also you might try Amarula Cream liqueur, Bacardi Pina Colada or Bols Natural Yoghurt Liqueur, most supermarkets will have these.

I like a soothing Creme de Minthe frappe myself, though it's not creamy.

I don't like creamy ones but I love Limoncello straight from the freezer. Would he like that?

M&S have a Christmas cocktail in a white bottle that looks intriguing.

Do they still make Irish Mist? It's Irish whiskey with honey, a lot like Drambuie and just a whiff of it makes me frisky (olfactory memory 'n all that)! It used to come in a decanter style bottle with a "strangely" shaped cap...

new bottle Ha! They've changed the style.

Recommend me a new/unusual liqueur type drink.

Ooh I'd love the salted caramel one. DH hates salted caramel so will have to buy that for myself!

Quite fancy the Christmas pudding one too. Definitely need a trip to m&s.

The natural yoghurt one not really tempting me though...

The natural yoghurt one is the strangest sounding drink I've ever heard I think, but it is strangely tempting Confused

I'm imagining it as an alcoholic lassie with lots of ice

Yes! Same here. I wonder if it's hard to get hold of? I'll check tescos later. I normally just get 3 bottles a bottle of "baileys" from Aldi, which is actually nicer than the real thing, and drink it gradually over Christmas.

Tesco online here don't, or Asda, already checked!
Probably online somewhere will.
