Meze style starter

For Christmas dinner I'd like to 'hand' (as my favourite 40s American books say) plates of canapes as a starter instead of going straight to the table. Probably lots of cava to drink with it. I've got as far as smoked salmon and ground to a halt. I want really light ones as I hate the overstuffed feeling at Christmas. Any genius ideas??

blinis with cream cheese and smoked salmon or macekrel pate, or mush room pate.

bits of slami etc

olives

Crostini
Prunes in bacon
Small cubes of cheese and grapes on sticks
Shots of hot or cold soup

Asparagus wraped in airdried ham, pesto and cheese stuffed cherry tomatos, mini mozerella stuffed peppadew peppers, mini shot glasses of gazpacho

All fairly light and can be preped day in advance, look attractive.
