An advent calendar that becomes a nativity scene.

I'm looking for an advent calendar that will build a nativity scene over the 24 days, has anyone seen one of these? I've seen one in Lakeland and it's ok but hard to see clearly. There must be others around but googling hasn't bought anything up!

Normally I wait until the end of November for this but I'd like to actually get one this heat rather than just think about it!

I have this one. Each little book hangs on the tree and then gets slotted into place.

I have the Lakeland one, it's lovely! Not cheap but it's well made. It's a really nice tradition for the run up to Christmas.

Thomas, yours looks interesting, what kind of level are the books - are they very basic young child kind of stories?

Not really Madauntof. I'd say it would work best from age 5 up. I'm am adult and find it quite interesting :o

I brought a wooden little kids nativity set (amazon) and a felt christmas tree with pockets for gifts. My plan is to put a piece into each pocket with a treat (any food as my kids are gannets) and gradually build the scene.
I might need to add some random farm animals from the toy box to make it to 24 but figure that will be fine.
