DD1 (5) - elsa dress and doll

DD2 (3) - would still be playing with her Anna doll but she lost it 3 months ago, nothing else. There are a couple of big items (giant toy dog) she plays with from her birthday which was 8 months ago.

DD (2yo) - Melissa & Doug pizza you can cut up and put toppings on etc. It's part of her Ikea kitchen, she's got pots and pans and plastic food, all of which are spread over the floor daily, but nothing gets played with as much as the pizza does.

DD (almost 3) still loves her weebles and plays with them almost daily. But having said that, she's got toys that she had for her 1st birthday that she still plays with.

DS1 (5) and Ds2 (2.5) are still playing loads with their playmobil castle and Knights. It has been brilliant - played with on every play date we've had here.

From Christmas 2014: Play Doh Sweet Shoppe

From Christmas 2013: the Ikea kitchen, still played with daily, amazing value and we've now added the ankles as DS has grown so much

We generally don't go for a huge quantity of gifts at Christmas, but like a pp it's cringeworthy how many things are forgotten in this house.

This week I did a toy clear out and got rid of 5 black sacks of stuff Blush

Hoping this Christmas I will:

  1. Buy a lot less!
  2. Buy toys they will play with for a long time, hence starting this thread :)

Thanks for your replies so far Grin

Marvel superheroes mash up and imaginext bat man were hits.

The spy door alarm is ignored (as I knew it would be, but he would have been so upset of Father Christmas didn't bring it that it was worth the £7!)
