Hi, DTD's will be 2.3 this year at Christmas. I'd like to start getting bits and pieces now both for main presents and stocking fillers but have no idea where to start. Can anyone give me some ideas as to what sort of things children that age like? At the moment their main interests are tipping their water everywhere and spinning round in a circle...

Dd is 2.3 now. Fave toys are playdoh, sticker books, anything peppa pig and her scooter.

Dd will be 2.8 at Christmas and I think an innotab will be one of her main presents and a dolls house.

Thanks, some good ideas to get me started. Particularly love the helium balloon, have a feeling such a present would eclipse all others!

Dd was 2.9 last Xmas.

She didn't need mountain of presents/stocking filled. Especially when she has grandparents Nd aunties n uncles that were getting presents too.

She got a new Miffy and Dr Suess book off Father Christmas
DH & I got her Build It (from ELC which was half price in the October half term sale) and 2 orchard toys games. One counting based and one memory

This Xmas though were thinking of getting her a Kiddizoom camera. They have one at nursery for when they do activities and she loves it apparently

I have three daughters. The best presents are;

A play kitchen (wooden is best) with Playford, a little trolley and a till.

Playdoh and cutters (helps strengthen little hand muscles ready for writing)

Lots of books

Colouring pencils/crayons and books for mark making.

Dolls, doll clothes and pram.

Stickers. Mine loved stickers at 2.

Little figures/animals for small world play (happyland, little people etc)

Duple

Musical instruments - they will drive you crazy though Grin

Wooden puzzles

For big presents an easel is a fab present - lots of painting fun esp outside in the summer!

The best present mine got at two was a mini micro scooter. So easy for them to use and made getting from A-B so much easier!

I'm watching with interest too as DD will be 2 just after Xmas. She loves my friend's son's train set so that might be a good option.

DD will be 2.9 at christmas.

She'll be getting an ELC doll, Melissa and Doug threading beads, a Mega Skecher and some books.

She isn't really interested in stuff though with the exception of her brothers Minecraft figures Hmm
