What are your dc getting for your dh?

Dd are 2 and 4 so realistically it's me who needs to choose and buy their present to him, otherwise he'd end up with a princess doll shoplifted from asda.

Anyway, as usual I've left this until the last minute and so have a very tight budget.

I was thinking of getting him a clip-on light for his kindle but think amazon may he the only place to get those and delivery won't arrive in time.

Any other inspiration?

Mine are also 2 and 4. I took them to the poundshop today and ds chose a hammer for OH. It's more if a jokey present, but ds is really excited as he chose it and wrapped it himself.

Mine are also 4 and nearly two. DS made a Christmas decoration at school and DD (with a lot of help!) made a handprint calendar at toddler group, so DH will be getting those wrapped up!

I might get him a little torch tomorrow though, as he saw the one I'd bought for DS as a stocking filler and said he wanted one.

Mine are mostly adult dc so ds1 got him a shirt, ds2 booked an apartment for them to stop over on one of the football away matches near his birthday (joint Xmas and birthday present) dd1 bought him trousers, ds3 I don't know but expect that it's something from the football shop and dd2 hasn't bought anything so will let her choose from what I've bought.

We just got some photo booth photos taken. Cost £5 and we pulled five different faces. Going to out them in a card, I think he will be really pleased! Mine are 4 and 6 and I had to put them on my knee in order to see!

Dd (4) did a drawing of him and wrote daddy which I got etched onto a glass, she did a drawing of a bike which I have unsuccessfully so far made into a transfer to go on a bag for all his cycling crap present for me really
And she made a gingerbread family. plus my mum will probadly have made stuff with her for both of us.
Can they make something? Gingerbread, or something savoury, decorate it and put it in a tin from the £ shop bottle of beer or something, in a box wrapped up 'dads night in' hamper?

I am going to take mine to the pound shop or home bargains tomorrow and let them choose a couple of things each. Unless its totally inappropriate like a barbie, they get to pick what they think he would like.
They are very excited about it!
Like the dads night in hamper tho

You can get Kindle accessories in plenty of real shops, including eg Waterstones.

Ds got Dh some skiing socks. Was going to get some Lego that they could do together but then we decided to go to Disneyland Paris and not buy each other any more presents. I still wanted to let DS get something for DH though so figured skiing socks would keep his feet warm in Paris and would be used when we go skiing in Feb too.

Monsters my dd has a chocolate orange to give too. She happened to be standing near one when I asked her what she thought DH would like. Her reasoning was that he's given her one last year, so he must like them.

Bottle of single malt! I could meet them choose/make something, but do is very unsentimental (despite being a doting father) and he will prefer this.

Let, not meet and dh, not do.

DD is 19mo so her present the last two years has been a photo desk calendar for work. For Fathers Day she has bought him a photo mousemat. I am rapidly running out of things he will actually use that I can put a photo on!

My budget was tight and dcs are young 1 and 2 so I picked up a selection of magazines he will like and I'm going to get some sweets and chocs and put it in a stocking.

Nothing. DD is 2. When she can actually pick something herself then I'll give her some pennies to get him something. Presents to DH this year are off both of us

I have gone down the poundland route so I don't know what they have bought. They are primary age, so I gave them some money and followed them at a distance while they choose for me and dh.
