I've got him Viktor & Rolf spicebomb aftershave and a onesie but have no idea what else to get for him. I didn't think we'd be "going ott" buying (although we can afford it) as we're expecting twins!!!

My clues off him for my Christmas presents are a pair of something to go with a smaller present and I've been spoilt.

I know it's not about how much you spend but he seems so smug about his presents for me where as I feel as though my presents are obvious. I've bought him aftershave for Valentines day. Bday and Christmas LOL.

Any suggestions on what I can get for him which would be a "nice thought"

Is there anything specific he's mentioned wanting but never getting when he was a child?

Mine always wanted a remote controlled helicopter but was never allowed one so I've got him one this year.

He's so hard to buy for. He doesn't read. Everything he watches is online. So DVDs are out of the question. He loves comedy but I'm finding it hard to get tickets for us to see a good comedian and he got me tickets to Jimmy Carr on my birthday. He doesn't really have many hobbies but over the last few weeks he's been amazing to me so I want to go all out and give him something that looks like I've put in effort rather than just playing it safe.

One of my DH favourite presents from my 2 DDs was a day at a gliding club- he loved it

My DH is getting a phone, a watch (nice but not massively expensive), a good down gilet/bodywarmer, a couple of CDs and a book. Past gifts have included bungee jumps, gig tickets, comedy tickets, weekend break for the two of us without offspring, guitar case, musical instruments.
How about an experience of some sort: adrenaline, holiday, treat?

A weekend break sounds amazing. We haven't had a weekend away together for months. Maybe in the next couple of months before I get too big. Atleast he'll have things to open Christmas day and something to look forward to. :-)

I've gone for a gilet, new leather washbag and a leather Oyster card holder as well as some stocking fillers. I have in the past generally gone for clothing upgrades I.e. that old skiing fleece replaced with a stylish upmarket fleece.

your OH sounds like mine - lovely, and a nightmare to buy for! his only want is a curve TV for 3k - knows wont happen but is a dream present, which he wont be getting....

firebox.com do retro popcorn machines which iv got him, and tickets to lion king for the three of us and a hotel stay there.

he's spoken non stop of his sisters gift many years ago of a segway ride for his brother, dad and him, might be an idea for you?

i was looking at a trip to amsterdam for the two of us as we've both never been, but hes said hes booked us 3 nights away in europe and i THINK its exactly that too so im not allowed buying that one. we love event tickets or nights away as then throughout the year even when struggling a little we have already paid for little events to go to.
