We have close family in deepest, darkest rural NSW ... I'd got some light, easy to post presents but completely forgot to send them on time ... I'm going to need to buy something online from an Australian retailer and get them to deliver it but there's no Aussie equivalent of Amazon and I'm a bit stuck now

Any ideas, please?

What kind of presents are you looking for?

What are their likes?

Grace bros or Myer (can't remember which they have in nsw) probably allow you to shop online and have it delivered. Depending on the gifts themselves there are loads of online retailers.

Marks and Spencer deliver to Australia. I think it's free too!

Contact your family now, apologise profusely and get the parcels sent off Airmail. No point buying everything twice.

Try sending anyway? I've found parcels have been getting from Australia to the U.K. within about a week. Worth a try anyway. I agree with pp it's not really worth it to buy twice.

How about couriering the presents? It is often less than posting multiple parcels.

There websites where you can order flowers to be delivered by local shops in Australia. Or wine or hampers. It's summer there so the flowers are fab. Just Google.

Get to the post office now. I have family in Oz, USA and South Africa and always miss all of their deadlines. Same as you, presents always bought.

Quick message to say so sorry but they are on their way now.

Likelihood is they will get there.
