All presents in this house are from Santa...none from us. I keep thinking the kids are going to clock that one day but not so far....

In our house the main present was from Santa the rest were from my parents. The risk with everything coming from Santa is there will come a point they'll wonder why you don't buy any presents for them

All from Santa - that is way more exciting.

Major present from Mum & Dad. Stocking and maybe one other present from Father Christmas.

The presents come from the people who buy them. Of course Santa delivers them and is sometimes is kind enough to leave a few extra of his own.

Santa is a glorified postman. All the presents are from family or friends, who give their orders to Santa to be made in his workshop, and delivered for Christmas.

All presents come form Santa we just pay for them.

In our house, Santa brings the sack of presents (mostly practical stuff, a few toys and up to three requests from the DC). Santa generally has a spending limit of about £10 per item.

We then give 5 presents under the tree. This includes the big present from us.

Santa just brings the main gift off the list. Actual people buy the rest. No stocking here either. Everything just appears under the tree on Christmas Eve nothing there before we hide it all.

Stocking and one 'main' present they have asked for from Father Christmas, the rest from us, friends and family.

Stocking from santa, presents from us and the people who bought them - that way they cant ask for unreasonable things. We have always down played santa - yes we put out food and sprinke reindeer dust- but we don't do all the " santa's watching, be good" stuff. They do love the excitment of the stocking - i just don't think that everything subsequently needs to be from santa- works well for us!

Father Christmas fills the stockings here, all other gifts come from whoever bought them.

I've always had a stocking from Santa and presents from parents as well. DH always had everything from Santa. We've decided to go with a stocking and one main present from Santa and the rest from us. I was worried DS would start to wonder why he'd not got anything from us.

Santa brings everything here, when ds believed he "knew" santa brought the gifts and mummy and daddy sent the money.

Stocking from Santa and all other presents from giver. It was how I experienced it as a child; dh had all parent presents from Santa, but he's not bothered how we do it for us.

Santa doesn't take all the credit for every ones hard work in our house. Santa brings a stocking and the kids thank friends and relatives for their gifts.

Father Christmas brings the stocking tat, everyone else gets credit for their gift. TBH I dont think Ds1 believes anyway so its really just a bit of fun in this house.
