8 year old wants surprises...

My 8 year old has asked for a box of lego and then surprises for Christmas. So I've got the lego, got some stuff for her stocking (Same stuff as her siblings get, felt pens, prit stick, other stationary bits, some finger lights, bubble bath/toiletries stuff. But I'm really struggling for a couple of medium sized things for her. Ds and dd2 have been quite easy to buy for this year, but dd seems to be growing out of toys and I'm not sure what else to get her. Any ideas? What are your 8/9 year old dds getting?

I don't have an 8yo but does she like board games? Toys r us have buy one get one half price on Hasbro at the moment. I'm going to get Operation and Monopoly for dd.
