Ainsburys has started to discount some of it's Christmas stuff (decorations, smelly things like candles, decorations in the household area as well as the seasonal aisle, etc)- seems to be around 25-50% off, some bits marked down twice.

That would be Sainsburys obviously!

Right guys I'm stuck. Two of my most expensive items are just not presenting themselves as a bargain to me :(

I'm after a Go Pro camera (the £100 one) and some form of Star Wars lego (preferably AT-AT) but both are really expensive and I can't find any deals.

Very/Isme can't find my address for some reason, so won't let me open a credit account and use the £30 off code. Are there any deals at all that people know of for anywhere that might sell these items? Getting desperate now!

I am all done and dusted, hurray.
But now my DM wants to know what to buy my DDs. I have suggested scooters but am not sure.
1 - the mini micro scooters are quite expensive
2 - DD1 has special needs and although very interested in them would find it difficult to coordinate the action (but it would be really good for her if she could) and DD2 is 20months (but absolutely must have whatever DD1 has and is much better coordinated).
With one scooter there'd be a massive fight but not sure if DD1's would ever actually get used (she can't pedal a trike).

AuntMaggie Costco had battery operated tealights and also bigger candles - and not only were they battery operated but they were remote control too Xmas Grin which struck me as a very first world thing

Bet you could have lots of fun with them if people didn't know they were operated by a remote control... [evil festive grin]

If anyone's giving a cake pop maker of any sort, they've got cake pop sticks in Poundland at 50 for £1 which is the cheapest by a long way that I've found them on the high street.

They're part of a Jane Asher baking range that also includes everything from tins and paper cases, cake boards, palette knife, whisk, chocolate moulds, nice little gratin dishes, to cake mixes, frosting and cake decorations - all for a pound each obviously. But if anyone's making up a baking type hamper or wants some kids cooking stuff that looks reasonable quality whilst being cheap, it's definitely worth investigating!

wanders off to make 200 marshmallow olaf snowmen, on the aforementioned cake pop sticks, for the school christmas fayre tomorrow instead of sitting here doing more bargain hunting

I got caught up in the Soap and Glory thing last year and bought one (with points). I was distinctly disappointed.
The cleanser hurt my eyes and didn't remove make-up and the thick body cream so was thick it wouldn't come out of the dispenser. Never used the scrub (does anyone ever use those?) and only just finished the shower cream, that was ok. The bag it came in was rubbish as it only held its shape with the cardboard box still inside it.
