Ipod question

Bought DH a new iPod for Christmas... Question is... Do I fill it with all his favorite songs before Christmas Day so he can plug it straight in to listen to on Christmas Day (also got him a docking station to use it with!) or do I leave him to spend the rest of the day setting it up and sorting it out for himself?

I hate setting new things up but DH has less patience than me and I can imagine him getting annoyed trying to sync and sort it out... But feel mean opening it up before him!

What would you lovely ladies do? Or have you done in the past? Would you rather it was all done and just ready to use?

does he already have an iTunes account ? If so it won't take long to synch it with a specific playlist on the day. I'd leave it to him tbh.

I'd maybe do that for a child but not for an adult.
