I always find stockings difficult, its a relatively small space to fillm but not alot of things are small imho.

This year for DD1
magic 8 ball - £7.99 WHSmith (I got this free with 3 for 2 deal instore)
various push pencils, rubbers and mini notebooks - £4.99 Tesco (party bag fillers, split between both DDs)
Thorntons mini chocolate santa and chocolate coins
Monster high stuff (necklace, hair bobbles and clips, bracelets) - about £5 worth Poundland
Yoyo
Juggling balls - both from Toytown (what was Beatties) and £2.99 each

and DD2
tiny wooden village in a bag like this - £4.99 Waterstones
various push pencils, rubbers and mini notebooks - £4.99 Tesco (party bag fillers, split between both DDs)
Thorntons mini chocolate santa and chocolate coins
Frozen stuff (necklace, bracelet, hair bobbles) - about £5 worth Poundland
Skipping ball thing (hooks over your ankle and you skip over it, lights up) - £2.99 from Toytown

i tend to get those little figure/character bags with the single toys in, so you can get them for moshi, ben 10, lego, playmobil, zomblings...etc

i also do chocolate coins, stationary..etc.

i'm also partial to buying sets of figures, opening the packaging and wrapping them separately! Thinking of doing it with the Frozen set of figures for dd this year.

Posted on the bargains thread, but thought I would add it here too for any who might miss it. Poundland had some packets of Nanoblock animals - I managed to get this panda and this pig. Packet is ideal size for stocking fillers.

Some great ideas here, I've ordered one of those wooden villages for my littlest now.
I'm also getting a pack of glow sticks each from the pound shop. Last year they got a box of old fashioned bangers, they went down really well. Always do Christmas socks and pants and a toothbrush (usually a musical or light up one).

Oh and punch balloons, those jump up toys that you stick down then they pop up, bouncy balls etc. Yellow moon is good for that kind of thing.
