I've just looked at habitats Christmas decorations and gone WTF

These are supposed to be reindeer

This is supposed to be an Elephant though quite why you would have an Elephant on a Christmas Tree anyway escapes me

This is another reindeer

These are chickens

And finally a pair of festive lions. What Christmas would be complete without them?!!!

Can I have some of the drugs the habitat designers took whilst dreaming these up please!?

TwllBach Sat 29-Nov-14 15:09:03

I like the first reindeer... The second reindeer looks very bovine to me though.

Teapot74 Sat 29-Nov-14 15:42:21

Wow. They are bloody awful!

Mrsgrumble Sat 29-Nov-14 15:44:34

It's a sad day when poundland have more attractive decorations than habitat!

Poolomoomon Sat 29-Nov-14 16:01:43

In what planet is THAT an elephant? It looks like the dog from Corpse bride grin.

CatsCantTwerk Sat 29-Nov-14 16:04:00

Since when did a chicken have 4 legs? confused

RedToothBrush Sat 29-Nov-14 16:06:23

I was quite baffled by the reindeer with wings.

Even Santa's reindeer have never had wings!

This is quite special too

Demonic Panda Bear Decoration from Paperchase

I like the lions. We have bought some random decorations this year including a flamingo, a pink fish and a doughnut grin.

olbas Sat 29-Nov-14 17:38:34

The Panda reminds me of Chucky!

There was a thread a while ago asking if people really did laugh out loud while reading threads. I don't usually but some of those links had me chuckling. They are all truly awful.

DustWitch Sat 29-Nov-14 20:13:58

They are all totally bizarre.

I quite like the Robots though. I'm not sure how festive Robots are really but I'm sure my six year old DS would love them.

hugoagogo Sat 29-Nov-14 20:22:40

I thought Habitat folded?! confused

marne2 Sat 29-Nov-14 21:28:15

I love the robots and dd2 would live the orbs ( she has a thing about orbs ).

I can't get the links to work but I like really unusual odd decorations on our tree. Mixed in with traditional Santas, stars and round baubles it looks brilliant. So I'm sure I won't think anything linked above is weird. Off to have a look...

Coumarin Sun 30-Nov-14 02:55:10

Ok. Yes they're too weird. If you're going to have elephants and chickens then make them look like actual elephants and chickens with glitter on, not some 2nd year art student's abstract nightmare.

The robots are amazing though.

Ladymoods Sun 30-Nov-14 07:51:51

Some beauties from Tesco here...

I particularly like the descriptions of them.

Clutterbugsmum Sun 30-Nov-14 09:21:10

Ladymoods, the description read like WTF, how do I make these sound nice grin.

RedToothBrush Sun 30-Nov-14 09:53:10

Those Tesco ones are AMAZING! Why?!

I really want a job as their Christmas buyer!

Ladymoods Sun 30-Nov-14 10:09:45

I'd like to meet the person who thinks that a whimsical alligator in a tutu represents Christmas...

BestIsWest Sun 30-Nov-14 13:35:02

This is our favourite

RedToothBrush Sun 30-Nov-14 16:58:36

What the heck is that?! And where is it from?

hugoagogo Sun 30-Nov-14 18:17:20

It looks like paperchase to me.

BestIsWest Sun 30-Nov-14 18:21:25

It's from Homesense. They have an outstanding collection of bizarre tat this year.

Iwantacampervan Sun 30-Nov-14 20:25:36

The price of those Tesco decorations - wow!
If you scroll down the RHS of the Tesco page you can have a disco frog - you know you want to.
