So far I got mine a Lego set and books. He hasn't asked for anything specific.

Mine is about to turn 5 (2 weeks after christmas) so close enough

he is getting a 'palaeontologist kit' including explorer dress up / canvas messenger bag / tools / binocularsa etc, a Dino book, a box of fossils, a switch n go triceratops that turns into a remote control car... can you tell he likes dinos? Actually likes is an understatement, he has been telling me for 2 years that he will be a palaeontologist when he grows up (and has known what it meant for that long too)

he is also getting a starter science set, a small lego set, and an outfit

oh and from Santa he's having zoomer dino

sorry - not much help unless yours likes dinosaurs!

Lego Star Wars sets
lego watch
A light sabre
Books/sticker books
Board games (junior scrabble, lego minotaurus, frustration)

That's about it so far. Friends seem to have bought their kids loads more, I'm wondering if we are being a bit stingy. But then last year they were a bit overwhelmed with stuff so I said I wasn't going to go mad this year.

DS is six now, but over the last year or two he's had imaginext castle, batcave and various accessories. The lego arctic explorer range has been popular, as has doctor who figures, dressing up stuff, power rangers and he loves listening to audio books on an old CD player we have. Marble run, geomagnetic and science sets have all been good presents as have board games - hungry hippos, frustration, junior monopoly etc.

Ds's main present is a motorbike/ gear so probably not much help, but other bits he is getting are: kidizoom watch, 2 book collections ( Magic Tree House and Mike the Knight), a telescope, a power rangers costume and walkie talkies ( the last 3 things are from family).
