Tesco Christmas delivery slots

Just a reminder that if you have a delivery saver, the slots become available today to book. That officially means Christmas is nearly here :)

I booked mine for the 23rd. I did it at 3am and ive just checked and the 23rd and 24th have all gone

Just done mine for 23rd as Tues is. My normal shopping day. Almost all slots for 23rd and 24th are still available here.

Just booked mine for 23rd, they don't do deliveries on the 24th here, all the slots were available!

Just managed to get a slot on 23rd which is fab. We're not actually doing a proper Christmas dinner this year but will have a newborn and don't want to battle the shops at any point over the festive period!

Just did mine for 23rd and only one of the slots was showing Full, last year they were all gone by this time.

Just been back on to book 19th and the 23rd is now all gone. It looks like they don't do Christmas Eve deliveries here as they're shown as full rather than a ' -- ' like Christmas Eve.

I was up at 12.20 feeding baby so booked a slot then, all the 8-9 slots on 23rd had already gone.

I wanted 22nd so got it no problem. I dont think many places deliver on xmas eve. if you read the blurb on the info email it says something like limited stores. so although xmas eve shows as full I think it's just not available in most places.

Scoobdoob Sainsburys stick to their 3week delivery pattern, so today you can book for the Thurs before Christmas, tomorrow it will be until Friday etc.

Urge. I tried from 7am to get my slot sorted and they've got some problem with checking out my order, now all the slots are gone for the 22, 23 & 24 in my area. Grrrrrrr!

Haha. We've got a houseful on 21st and we generally get a shop in on a Friday so didn't want to be at risk of not getting it.

Maybe I should just go the full hog and book for the next two Fridays as well Tomorrow is booked already

I get mine on a Friday too so did as you did! Won't need one next week (as in New York!). I think the 12th will be safe to do a few days before?!

If I remember rightly there's usually loads of subs before Christmas anyway...

I booked my slot for the 23rd and did my order at about 12.05 this morning - by the time I had checked it out all the slots on the 23rd were gone. Don't they release more nearer to Christmas though? I'm sure I've had them in previous years and I've only had the delivery saver this year. Good to get it done though - one year DH and I went shopping late on Christmas Eve and the supermarket was so empty of festive food all we could get bird-wise was a small chicken I've also witnessed terrible Christmas Eve behaviour in Waitrose with people taking the last tub of gravy out of someone's trolley...
