I'm going for the 22nd incase anything is missing.

I go for the 23rd because we always go to the market on Christmas eve for sprouts/parsnips/carrots and a wander to see if there are any carol singers about so can pick missing bits up then.

I'm more excited than the kids about Christmas as always

I'm waiting up for a slot on the 23rd. Tesco changed the store our shopping comes from recently and I now struggle to get a slot unless I book a few days in advance. I imagine they will run out of slots quite quickly for Christmas deliveries.

Do you get many substitutions? I've always been a bit cautious about doing an online Christmas shop in case half the stuff I want is substituted and I have to go in-store anyway

Ooh thanks for the tip cece waited up especially and by 12.10 I was becoming a little agitated. Had my basket of complete random crap ready and no slots beyond 17th available. Then thought ahh I bet there's a thread on MN and they will know the answers... And LO and behold I now have a slot for 9-10 on the 23rd. Got to love the power and wisdom of MN.

Thank you for the reminder, OP. I'd actually forgotten all about the email I got, the date, the code, all of it tbh. Normally I'm forced into Asda at 7am on Christmas Eve.
