Please!! He is mid 30's and we have 2 young Dc. He has a manual job, enjoys pushbiking (with kids not really a hardcore mountain biker!), playing xbox, watching films. He gets games and films from a friend 2nd hand so no need to buy any.

Loves gadgets- has an iphone. Would love to buy him the new xbox or an ipad but just don't have the money. Not interested in books, or clothes particularly. No need for wallet, watch etc.

Budget around £50 ish. Ideally would love some form of techy gadget intended for anything really. So far I have pyjamas! Help !

I've still got something to get for my husband for £50 and am now clueless as what to get him. Hope that some good ideas are put forward.

Remote controlled helicopter that fires missiles? I got one for mine for £30 - he plays COD on xbox360. He's about at the mo but can root out the receipt shortly if you want to know what it's actually called Smile

How about a Leatherman multi-tool?

There are loads of different sorts depending on what someone is likely to use it for eg. some more suited to particular hobbies.

Paul Smith have an iPhone case that looks like a retro cassette tape - that's what I've got for hard-to-buy for DH!

Fitbit or similar, they monitor activity and sleep, you can upload food data, ultimately get fitter? They are a little over budget but I think you can get a basic one for around £50.

tell me about the helicopter please! I want to buy one for DH but the ones I have seen are all above budget - 30quid seems more like it for a toy....

It's this one but was cheaper in store if there's a Red5 gadget shop near you (plus no postage obvs. And, you get a 10% discount if it's the last one in store)

Tassimo coffee maker if he drinks coffee? Bit of a gadget and reduced currently to within your budget.

Otherwise one of those monitors to fit his bike to monitor his speed and gradient?

They had a helicopter that fired water as well but I couldn't be doing with listening to the girls screech!

And a car thingy that went up walls, along ceilings and on windows.

We spent a lot of time in there ooh-ing over random stuff Grin
