Thanks Siarie. I got one for my daughter but none for my son. They are selling at shocking price on ebay!

FB green site takes to Gamegeek which is out of stock. Amazon is all showing over 40 pounds.

Hmmm, Sorry about that - thought it was too good to be true. You'll be lucky to find stock at Argos Lurleene...

Lego shop in Westfield had them last time I was in a few days ago.

Try a Playmobil one. We bought one second hand on eBay years ago and it's the best part of our Christmas every year. I love that it once belonged to a girl named Lucy (her name is on the box) and for years now, my own kids have adored this Advent calendar.

It looks like the Entertainer have the start wars and the lego city ones available, shows click and collect only on the main search screen but going through shows home delivery available.

flakjacket Tue 25-Nov-14 12:33:52

Lego website says phone for availability. That may be worth a try...

RJnomore Tue 25-Nov-14 12:38:52

Have you checked boots, they had them in the 3 for 2.

JammyTodger Tue 25-Nov-14 12:44:29

They were piled high in The Entertainer (Worcester) yesterday. Thought about getting one for DS but he'd prefer chocolate. Looks like I should have bought a few and sold them on...

Bicnod Tue 25-Nov-14 12:47:57

Waterstones had them yesterday...

I got mine in Waterstones, also saw them in John Lewis - might be worth phoning your nearest branches?

Clueing4looks Tue 25-Nov-14 13:44:27

If he's into Doctor Who they're giving away a free advent calendar with mini figures in their magazine this month. We all have these this year plus a choc £1 shop one.

Where can I get it from?

Clueing4looks Tue 25-Nov-14 15:07:25

Ours was from WHSmiths, £4.99. Bought on Saturday. It's just the regular monthly magazine. Been itching to open it!

Frostyfoxy Tue 25-Nov-14 16:40:19

I came on here thinking to myself if anyone knows where to get the City advent calendar mumsnet will!! Seems there are a lot of us in the same boat! I'm not paying double the price for them on Ebay. My ds is going to be very disappointed I think.....

Quenelle Tue 25-Nov-14 18:20:32
