Apologies for the blatant promotion - but it's for charity and I'm sure it would be a great family Christmas treat.

Warner Bros have donated tickets to the premiere to our charity and we're selling them on ebay. The ticket is for a family of four.

I can't do Sunday but here is a big BUMP for you smile

Thanks! All bumps appreciated. I'm surprised there have been no bids yet, although I have heard that often on ebay all the bids come at the last minute. I'm hoping that's the case.

We quite often don't bid until the last minute & then it all goes crazy.

I'm glad WB donated them to an animal charity for a change.

You've got the Hobbit too! Surely someone want to see that.

thecatneuterer Mon 24-Nov-14 13:41:15

Oh yes Fluffy - I'd forgotten about that! Two tickets to the premiere of the Hobbit on Monday 7 December:

And I've just read that Benedict Cumberbatch will the there (the Hobbit premiere, not the Get Santa one) and do believe that some mumsnetters quite like him smile

Fluffycloudland77 Mon 24-Nov-14 14:05:18

I bet the Benedict Cumberbatch fans hang out in the "sleb Twaddle" section or something like that.

thecatneuterer Mon 24-Nov-14 14:16:45

Thanks again Fluffy. I've just seen there is a dedicated thread for him in Sleb Twaddle. I've posted in that.

3 bids now.

Corygal Mon 24-Nov-14 15:36:13

This sounds utterly brilliant.

cozietoesie Mon 24-Nov-14 16:46:54

They both have bids now. - so some lucky kids will be going.

thecatneuterer Mon 24-Nov-14 17:34:10

smile Well I'm not so sure it will be children going to letch after Benedict Cumberbatch the Hobbit premiere ...

cozietoesie Mon 24-Nov-14 18:52:20

That's a fair point.

Corygal Mon 24-Nov-14 21:11:29

I can't believe Martin Freeman is going to be at the Hobbit one as well. Slaver.

thecatneuterer Mon 24-Nov-14 21:21:18

I can't see the appeal of any of them! But each to their ownsmile Now if Robert Sheehan were in it that would be a different matter blush

Fluffycloudland77 Mon 24-Nov-14 21:25:36

Or that bloke off peaky blinders. Hubba-Hubba

thecatneuterer Mon 24-Nov-14 21:27:28

I've never seen it Fluffy. Link?

thecatneuterer Mon 24-Nov-14 21:42:48

Well I've just looked at the character list and I can't see anyone remotely fanciable. Which one is it?

Fluffycloudland77 Mon 24-Nov-14 21:45:40

Cillian Murphy.

thecatneuterer Mon 24-Nov-14 21:48:29

Nope. I think you've all got really weird taste! Mind you I can talk - I've also got a bit of a thing about Richard from Pointless ....

cozietoesie Mon 24-Nov-14 22:43:44

I don't know who half of these people are. blush

cozietoesie Tue 25-Nov-14 10:16:51

Ah - four bids now.

thecatneuterer Tue 25-Nov-14 11:05:48

Yes, and just four hours to go. I'd love to know if the eventual successful bidder is a mumsnetter.
