Present ideas for 8year old boy and 7year old girl?

Sorry but I haven't got a clue!

Fairly distant relatives but we normally get them a little something each for Christmas.

Budget is about £10, no more than £15

I know that they like meerkats (thought about an "adopt a meerkat" package each but I don't really want to start a tradition. There are significant problems with our "link" relatives - with whom we are currently nc - so there is no guarantee that we'll be in contact next Christmas and I don't want to either disappoint the kids or start something that their parents feel they have to carry on).

The boy has a name that is quite popular, but the girl has an unusual name/spelling so it's difficult to find anything that is personalised.

So, does anyone have any bright ideas? Their parents are lovely and are quite "hands on" (craft stuff, baking etc) but I'd like to get something that shows a bit of thought rather than just get a craft set for the sake of it iyswim.

Thank you! Grin
