What make of secateurs to buy a gardener?

Last year I bought DH secateurs from amazon, but although they had good reviews they broke pretty quickly. I'd like to buy him a hard wearing & sharp replacement pair for Christmas. Any recommendations for makes or places to buy from please. Thanks!
