I usually do Christmas by myself, and that is fine. However I've just read the "Christmas recipes" bit of a Sunday paper and want to cook everything.

So who wants to come and what will you bring?

Davros Tue 18-Nov-14 17:47:31

Prunes wrapped in bacon. DH's special trifle.

CaulkheadUpNorth Tue 18-Nov-14 17:49:38

Ooh I like it.

BeginnersLuck Tue 18-Nov-14 17:53:52

I'm there! I'm bringing The Best Mince Pies In The World Ever.

CaulkheadUpNorth Tue 18-Nov-14 17:55:25

Can you bring a lot. I luffs mince pies.
We'll have hazelnut and blueberry loaf if that's ok. It looks wonderful.

Allalonenow Tue 18-Nov-14 17:59:13

I'll bring smoked salmon and prosecco.

CaulkheadUpNorth Tue 18-Nov-14 18:00:07

I'll see you the children juniper
And raise you the mils dog [said poker style]

I will leave some pork and cranberry stuffing (generous)

CaulkheadUpNorth Tue 18-Nov-14 18:06:37

Juniper - only if they are very good at sleeping and washing up.

TheJiminyConjecture Tue 18-Nov-14 18:07:23

I'll bring some lovely pate and glare at you while you eat it because bastard pregnant people can't have delicious pate

BOFster Tue 18-Nov-14 18:08:43

Ooh, brie and cranberry parcels, I think. But if I'm feeling evil, sprouts.

JuniperTisane Tue 18-Nov-14 18:09:19

I wouldn't trust the 22mth old with the washing up but they do both sleep ok are you ok with a 4yr old creeping into bed at 3am?

Just feed 'em peanut butter sandwiches and they will be fine.

CaulkheadUpNorth Tue 18-Nov-14 18:10:47

I love sprouts.

CaulkheadUpNorth Tue 18-Nov-14 18:11:29

Maybe the 22month old and the dog can entertain each other?

Allalonenow Tue 18-Nov-14 18:19:30

I love sprouts, but am a bit iffy about dogs.

FrantasticO Tue 18-Nov-14 18:21:53

Dog very used to kids...could even be used as part babysitter?
I'll also bring some bacon and lentil soup, as long as I get some sprouts!

CaulkheadUpNorth Tue 18-Nov-14 18:22:24

Ok, well let's say no to small children and pets currently. Next door is up for sale though so you are welcome to bring them and let them have fun there instead.

BOFster Tue 18-Nov-14 18:26:39

What about boardgames?

TheCountessofFitzdotterel Tue 18-Nov-14 18:28:50

The cheesy star biscuits from Nigella's 'How To Eat'. I do them every Xmas.

Leeds2 Tue 18-Nov-14 18:32:19

Wine. And lots of it!

CaulkheadUpNorth Tue 18-Nov-14 18:44:10

I've got carcassone, settlers and escape from Atlantis. Plus all the ones like monopoly and cluedo. Please bring others. And wine. Especially mulled wine.

BOFster Tue 18-Nov-14 18:47:02

I only play monopoly if I'm allowed to be the Scottie dog. I am partial to a bit of Connect Four.

RunawayReindeer Tue 18-Nov-14 19:03:29

I'll bring twister for later fgrin blackberry vodka, fudge vodka, skittles vodka and a bottle of lemonade.

And Potentially a first aid kit
