Secret Santa support thread?

It is the time of year where we get given the name of a little known colleague and told to spend £5 on something amazing!

I like to think I am good at gifts and spend a lot of time and mental energy choosing the best gifts for friends and family. But this year I am stumped! My secret Santa is a very very well of lady who is early 40s, fab clothes, beautiful jewellery etc. She has her own coffee maker and specialist cups at work as well as wearing stunning cashmere scarves. (These are my go to gifts!)

Help!!!! I am beyond stumped!

I was going to suggest www.iwantoneofthose.com/gift-novelty/nothing-for-the-person-who-has-everything/30000870.html but it's over budget!

I'm sure it was £4.99 when I got it for DP.

Coffee beans are a great idea.

The Yankee candle outlet on EBay may be your friend. Also, joules outlet on eBay.

We haven't started one in work yet but I have already decided what I am getting for whoever it is- you know the charity gifts, but a goat/teacher etc.? This www.sendacowgifts.org.uk/semen-straw
£5 and definitely novel as well as actually being useful to someone!

I am loving these ideas!

I would have to switch the coffee beans to pods (it's either nesters so or tassimo, I can't remember which).

Going to look at the outlet stores now.

What about something abut novel? I always think secret Santa should be funny, or lighthearted.
Bath ducks?!
Chocolate making kit?
There's a shop called Tiger which has loads of amazing bits dead cheap - like I got moustache magnets for £2/3 and glowing mushrooms for £1...Grin I still managed to spend £45 when last in thereConfused

Ours is a tenner and everyone has almost worked out who has who and then told them what to buy Hmm

I'm not sure they quite get it.

A diary and a pen, chocs and socks? Or just go with a novelty gift. That's what we did at my old place, £5 max and jokey novelty type gifts so Christmas deely boppers, mugs with phrases on, that kind of thing. Cheesy but preferable,

I have just picked the name out of a hat for my office. However our budget is something silly for 2.50. Great.
Not sure if my colleague will appreciate a fart whistle.
