My nephew loves a big box (who doesn't?!!)... We've already got him some presents but they've been things his parents have asked for which are all very small packages... We really want to get him something extra that's in a really big box Wink

Any ideas? He's 2..

An art easel. Or just a big, empty, gift wrapped box.

How about an actual cardboard box (free!) cut into a castle/car/house shape, with a pack of crayons attached for him to decorate it with?

They have the tomy rocking horse in asda for £10 - it comes in a massive box and toddlers love them.

What about a tunnel (ikea) for him

A big box filled with cheap balloons, paper streamers and maybe some glitter/foil shapes! Maybe pop 1 or 2 helium ones in the top so that they float out the top when he opens it! Smile

off the wall here - but why not get a big box and cover with wrapping paper, then put the other toys inside, maybe buy something second hand to add to the bulk. We have bought DGS a happy land set in lovely condition but not new to go with other new presents :)

without a doubt helium Balloon S.

Just had toddler bday, got about 4 Helium Balloons, she was by far more interested in these than the presents she got. Make sure they have lovely long string so when they float to ceiling he can pull them down and then they float back up, they look lovely in room too.

Card factory sell a brilliant shiny range for about 2.49 per balloon.

Honestly. It will be his best present.

Buy a huge box (or three, or five!) off ebay or amazon or wherever, and make a castle/tower/tunnel/boat/airplane/play house/whatever. Cut windows out, paint it in bright colours, voila! You will be very popular Smile

My dd is almost 2 and she just loves boxes she can climb in, she pretends they're a taxi or a bus! I'd just put all your presents for him in a big box and wrap it up

There are all sorts of cardboard toys on-line - all sorts of different prices. The come flat-packed, but you could assemble it ready for use. I love this one: Rocket

Definitely agree with helium balloons. Did similar for DD when she was younger. Wrapped presents in the bottom of a bix box and 3 filled helium balloons on top to float out when opened. Balloons provided hours of entertainment, box was played with for the rest of the day and the actual presents didnt get opened at all until a couple of days later!!!

A couple of years ago FIL asked what dd age 3 would like. I said anything you know her, she'd be happy with a cardboard box to make into something.
So he went to the supermarket and got a giant crisp box, was huge and some felt tip pens. She loved it.

Argos also hae a cardboard castle which we got for her party last year I managed tiger it for £5 reduced.
