Just gone onto Selfridges to order some personalised jars for christmas presents and it seems they've stopped doing them?

Does anyone know if they have definitely stopped doing them, and if they have whether they will be doing them again?

Gutted that I didn't order them when I first saw them! hmm

Just bought two in the foodhall at trafford centre yesterday!

Did you not ask while in selfridges?

chelsbells Sun 09-Nov-14 21:48:47

Everything, I haven't been into Selfridges, was trying to order them online but the webpage for them seems to have vanished

Will phone tomorrow and see if it's possible to order over the phone. Holding out hope since OhBaby has got some today!

Still doing them in store. Maybe not online.

Oh they're brilliant. DS is a complete nutella monster, he would love this.

Just to update, I had a reply from Selfridges saying they've stopped doing online orders but can still be done instore.

For anyone that's done it instore, do you order it then have to to back another day to collect or do they print it there and then? Looks like a trip to Selfridges this weekend for me!

RJnomore Mon 10-Nov-14 21:54:31

Cannot possibly justify a weekend in London (from Scotland) just to buy two jars of personalised nutella can I?

o0 Mon 10-Nov-14 22:02:34

Take orders RJ. I want 2, can you deliver to Edinburgh? fgrin

I always put Nutella in the Christmas Eve hamper and now I'm sad I don't have personalised Nutella.

chelsbells Mon 10-Nov-14 22:04:00

RJ that is a little excessive... But if that's what it takes!

Fortunately I'm only a 30minute train ride from the Birmingham store so may pop over there this weekend... Am going to attempt to call and order over the phone tomorrow however and get it sent out to me... Will update if it's possible!

Everyone deserves their own named Nutella jar for Christmas! smile

RJnomore Mon 10-Nov-14 22:48:53

Is there a selfridges in Manchester? That's nearer...

<ponders>

I love them, I haven't seen them, why don't they do mail order!

Tikkabillajive Mon 10-Nov-14 22:51:24

Amazing! Can anyone tell me how much they are? Trying to work out if I can persuade DH to pick one up for my nutellaholic sis when he's next working in London...

OhBabyLilyMunster Mon 10-Nov-14 23:50:49

3.99

You pay and nip back after ten mins to collect

Oreocrumbs Mon 10-Nov-14 23:56:17

Yes there is one in Manchester...... Just having a silent debate with myself to decide if a day trip from Durham to get some is excessive.... It's only 2 hours or so if I drive very fast.

Tikkabillajive Tue 11-Nov-14 00:03:21

Brill, thanks. I am so sending DH on a mission.

chelsbells Tue 11-Nov-14 13:43:20

For all of those who are getting them for someone else, are you also going to get yourself one with your name so you aren't a touch jealous on Christmas morning... It's such a waste to go all that way just for one...

bigTillyMint Tue 11-Nov-14 13:46:08

I saw them being done on-the-spot in Selfridges Oxford St about 2 weeks ago. Took about 5-10mins.

Merrow Tue 11-Nov-14 14:03:01

In the spirit of spreading Christmas cheer, I live in London and could go to the Selfridges on Oxford Street and post the jars to those in need.

Pikkewyn Tue 11-Nov-14 14:04:57

Merrow - Can I pm you? I have just spent the morning trying to justify the £88 round trip to London for a jar of nutella!

PrincessOfChina Tue 11-Nov-14 14:06:49

I ordered online and collected yesterday from the Bullring. The stand was still there outside printing them up but my online order was delayed by a week or so, so I would give them a call and see if it'll still be going.

Merrow Tue 11-Nov-14 14:08:28

Yep, go for it. I was planning on going in at the start of December to see the lights everywhere, but if you need it earlier just let me know - it's on the same tube line as me so easy enough, but I just tend to avoid Oxford Street at all costs!

flatmouse Tue 11-Nov-14 14:12:31

OMG why did no one tell me about these?
