I haven't bought any yet but I've been looking at some for my 10 year old. I'm not sure whether to go for Style Me Up or these ones:

www.amazon.co.uk/TRUYOO-Colors-Temporary-Non-toxic-Pastel/dp/B00COGSLQS/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1413270272&sr=8-2&keywords=12%20hair%20chalks&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21

DD has quite dark hair though so I'm not sure if they'll show up...

We got some from Poundland not long ago to play about with.

Word of warning...use pillow cases you're not bothered about if they're sleeping with it in, ours transferred. Did wash out ok though.

& they work best on damp, but NOT wet (cos it drips all over), hair Smile

I bought these ones
TRUYOO 12 Colors Temporary Color Non-toxic Hair Chalk Dye Hair Salon Pastel Kit
From Amazon.
Mine took a few washes but I had properly sealed with heat.
One of the girls I gave a quick blast with the straighteners and washed out no problem. Son came out when he was sleeping as I didn't use any heat.
Instructions say to use on damp hair, I found it better to wet the chalk.
Oh and watch your hands. I did 4 people's hair and walked around with multi coloured hands for a few days.

I got these - same as bloody £5 delivered. Very good but need more washes of sealed with heat. They pretty much wash first time otherwise. Dds are blonde and dark brown and work equally well. Apply when fairly damp though.
