Elmer? There's a ton of toys and books that go with him. We've got a lovely skittles set.

Or adopt an elephant at a zoo and visit it?

Tinga Tinga tales books and DVDs?

Jungle Book DVD?

Doh nutters. No idea if it's any good but I'd looked at it for my 3 year old too.

Babar dvds, books and other items - There are a few bits on Ebay.
I got a copy of the Babar meets Father Christmas dvd for 50p from CeX - Might be nice to watch in the run up to Christmas.

Also, Humphrey's Corner stuff. Sally Hunter has written a series of gorgeously illustrated books, and you can get soft toys and stuff.

Elephant Jellyphant by Nick Sharratt might go down well, my kids loved it when they were that age.

Elephant hand puppet. My dd had one at this age and loved it, it was a lovely bug soft one.

How about these, you can have the tea and fill the caddy with treats and stocking filler type presents.

When my DS was that age he loved tins and chests to keep his things in. A bit of a strange suggestion, but could be fun!
