Presents for 8 year old girl!?

Stuck on what to get my 8 year old daughter for xmas!!!
She's not really Into anything specific so it's really hard! Anyone have any ideas?

Does she like dolls? My 8yo will be getting a couple of Monster High dolls.
Does your DD listen to any music- CD?
Does she like arts and crafts?
Board games?
I'll be getting DD a scooter this year too.

YY to a scooter my nearly 8 year old dd uses hers nearly every day - worth splashing out on a good one like maxi micro.
Otherwise does she read? - perhaps a Kindle or Nook, Argos have the backlit Nook for £49.99
Colouring - orb factory mosaics
Kids Nat Geographic subscription if she likes animals
Lego friends
Nice pj's / slippers / onsie
Nintendo 2ds / 3ds and a game

I like the kindle idea and the board games as we don't currently have any and we could have lots of fun on Christmas Day with them. Also I was thinking about a scooter but want to find a decent one that will last.

Also that had Lego friends last year and we spent time building them but they are not been broken up in to Lego pieces now so not sure whether to get them again. They had the Lego friends sets! They are great though I think I enjoyed building them myself lol

My daughter is about to turn 8. She doesn't play with many toys anymore, but she has asked for:

• latest Now album
• Harmunika fabric / sets
• tickets for her favourite show
• DVDs (wolf blood)
• Jacqueline Wilson books
• Trendy clothes
• Stuff for her hobbies
• Proper jewellery (she wants a ring etc)
• stuff for styling hair etc

She is also saving up for an iPad mini, so we've said if they save up half (through chores, birthday money and pocket money) then we'll pay for the other half.

Thanks for the ideas. We are thinking of an iPad mini for her main present but not sure about anything else as that's an expensive present already. Found it really difficult to find things they would like.

My 8 year old DD would like Lego Creator cafe and Bike shop, she got the Creator house for her birthday and now prefers this to Lego friends as it not so " girly!" ( I also have great fun building it with her)
She has asked for hair stuff and a book. Does your DD do any sports that she might need kit for like a club hoodie or swimming costume?
